Friday is a minimum day. Students will be dismissed at 12:10. We won the spirit trophy for showing the most spirit in the intermediate grades on Friday with our sea of green! Our trophy will be displayed in our window for all to see. =)

Homework for the Week of January 10th

Please remember these important reminders on homework and tests: Summaries are paragraphs that include important things from their story. They must not include opinions, such as I love this book. Students take a vocabulary quiz once a week. There are 20 words and they must know their definitions. I recommend that the students take home their vocabulary notebooks nightly to study for their quiz. Notebooks must come back to school the next day. Our story this week is Marven of the Great North Woods. Progress reports come home on Tuesday.
We have a science night on Wednesday at 6:30. There will be a presentation and if your child attends, they can receive 10 points extra credit for their science grade!
Booklets will be coming home this week to help our technology in the school. Students are to work with parents to write down the names of people and their complete addresses with their first and last name along with their grade on each page. Students who turn in completed booklets can receive a prize upon turning in and a grand prize at the end of our time.
