Winter Break

Hello Families,

Here is a great website for multiplication facts.  http://multiplication.com/basics/teach1.htm .  The students are using these facts in most of our math so it is suggested that they use flashcards and learn the facts.  Test them and see how quickly they can get the answer.  This is the point of practicing facts.  Now is a great time to start practicing as they have 2 weeks with no school.

Good luck!

Homework for the Week of December 19th

No homework this week!

Our class will have a small class party at 2:30 on Wednesday for any students wishing to bring some treats.  Snowmen and their autobiographies are due on Wednesday.  We will announce winners on Thursday out of all intermediate classes.  Good luck to all!  We will be watching the movie, The Santa Claus, on Thursday.  This movie is rated PG.  I sent home permission slips on Friday for your child to have you sign if they may watch it.  Remember that we have a minimum day on Thursday as well.  School will resume on January 9th.

I hope you have a happy holiday season!
