Homework for the Week of November 14th

Important Reminders It's conference week!  Please bring your child to the conference with you.  They are old enough to start attending themselves! =) It is a minimum day schedule all week long.  Progress notes come home on Monday.  Please make sure your child is studying for their vocabulary test each Friday as there are 20 words!  They may take their vocabulary notebook home each night to study them, but they must return to school the next day. 

Monday:  Do a fluency read for 1 minute with an adult and mark on fluency paper, read from a book of your choice for 15 minutes then write a 5 (or more if you choose) sentence summary about what you read, and complete the math page for Chapter 8 Lesson 4.

Tuesday:  Do a fluency read for 1 minute with an adult and mark on fluency paper, read from a book of your choice for 15 minutes then write a 5 (or more if you choose) sentence summary about what you read, and complete the math page for Chapter 9 Lesson 1.

Wednesday:  Do a fluency read for 1 minute with an adult and mark on fluency paper, read from a book of your choice for 15 minutes then write a 5 (or more if you choose) sentence summary about what you read, and complete the math page for Chapter 9 Lesson 2.
 
Thursday:  Do a fluency read for 1 minute with an adult and mark on fluency paper, read from a book of your choice for 15 minutes then write a 5 (or more if you choose) sentence summary about what you read, and complete the comprehension page. 


*Papers that should be turned in on Friday are:  all reading log pages, the fluency paper, and the homework from Thursday night.
